Last weekend I went for a wild camp up Snowdon, a location I had wanted to camp up for a long time. I knew a pitch finding exercise would be tough but what I didn't think about until I arrived was the fact that the national three peakers would be ascending throughout the night. It made for some unsettled sleep when they were shouting "is that a tent?!" and "they must be hardcore"...while I'm lay there thinking that they were the nutters! Anyway, this is a shot of the sunrise from just below the summit. The sun caught me out, rising earlier than my app's told me but still managed OK. This is looking down into the horseshoe basin, Crib Goch on the left, with both the Pyg and Miners track clearly visible, then you have Glaslyn and Llyn Llydaw behind. In the distance, high above the mist is Moel Siabod.
