The Turkish Steps, a cliff alive consists of an outcrop of white marl prominent on the sea, whose slopes degrading layer give it a very striking appearance, accentuated, in turn, by the strong color contrasts if you think the blue of the sea and the sky as opposed to the blinding white of the rock.The form that this monument natural takes is precisely of a staircase, where according to legend, during the Moorish invasions that plague in 500, the Turks (erroneously so called) landed in the territory of today's Realmonte climbing on stratifications of this crag.
