There was a "supermoon" shot that I've been thinking about and planning for 2.5 years now. About 1-2 times a year, there is a unique convergence and alignment between the sunrise, moonset and several prominent geologic features in this part of the world. It just so happened that this year, it coincided with the supermoon (technically this happened the day after the supermoon, with the moon being only 99% full). Despite all my best efforts, mother nature saw fit to cloud me out for that shot yesterday AM. Oh well, better luck next time.My efforts, however, weren't completely wasted.
