This photograph is the first part of my latest work, a series of photographs of the medieval town of Rhodes, called

I wanted to capture the famous "Knight's Passage" from a different perspective.
The use of my ultra-wide Tokina lens with an aperture of F/6.3, gave me the ability to focus just to one meter away from the camera, as the hyperfocal distance for this aperture is just 0,96 cm.
So everything was in focus, from the half of focusing distance (50 cm) to infinity.

A Note : This shot was published today (22.12.2011) in the latest issue of What Digital Camera magazine (January 2012 - pages 60 - 61), along with three (3) other photographs of mine !
