A little over a year ago I was captivated by these cascades when the cave had finally opened up enough to photograph them comfortably and fine-tune compositions. Now the cave has opened a good deal more over this portion of the creek and the opening of the cave creeps ever closer to this spot. Because time is running out, so to speak, I'm not reluctant to photograph and share different vantages of this tiny location over and over again. The image is a stitch of three photos made by using the shift function of the TS-E lens. The result is exceptional detail in all the places where there is detail to be seen. Perhaps next year there will be enough light reaching these cascades to choose a shutter speed that will bring some texture in to the water.
