Something slightly different for me (again?!). I thought it would be rude not to photograph the cotton grass this year and there's a fair bit high up on Saddleworth.Admittedly, I wish I had my 50mm with me which rarely gets used but i couldn't find the lens adapter for the Nex before setting out (worrying).Anyway, spent a bit of time messing with compositions and taking plenty of shots as the wind was giving alot of movement to the grass. This image was taken looking to Greenfield Reservoir in the distance, to try and give a bit of sense of scale and place. This was shot at ISO 1600, which I was surprisingly impressed with how clean it came out of the camera...had to shoot so high ISO due to the wind and needing a fast shutter speed for the constantly moving grass.
