This one was taken on the way back to campground from Plain of Six Glaciers hike. Super pleased with the views down beneath the glacier capped summits of Mt Victoria and Lefroy, tired we hoped to stop by for a cup of hot tea at one of the Rockies' oldest backcountry teahouses. What a disappointment it was when we made it there (around 6pm) to find owners counting $$ for all the tea and goodies sold during that day and to hear that they closed a 1/2 hr ago!:((( I guess I became to Americanized lately to expect to keep their door open till the last customer.. oh well! The day was not over yet and by the time we reached lake Louise the sun was perfectly painting in pink mountain tops! Forget about that tea - we lived through another great day in Canadian Rockies!
