A shot from near Colorado's "Wildflower Capital", Crested Butte. I had gone to bed with dreams of partly cloudy skies and sunrise color, but instead it was a rainy, moody morning. I saw the next line of rainshowers headed my direction, and liked the feel it gave to the scene. This is two shots, both of the same comp at 14mm. One for focus on the foreground flowers, and another for the rear flowers and the sky. Adjustments in Capture NX2 for each shot, then blended them together in PSE 11.
