It was a -3 degrees morning in south island New Zealand, Central Otago, every life form also seemed to be frozen at the same time. For someone who lived in Australia for the past 25 years, this temperature was closed to unbearable to say the least. The birds were sleeping during sunrise, hence I was able to open the shutter for over 3 minutes without them moving much at all. It was nice visiting this beautiful town during our drive to Fox Glacier.

Canon 5d3, 70-300, Lee CPL, Lee ND3, Singh-Ray 4 stop soft grad, single exposure.
