Doi Chiang Dao mountain range is a limestone mountain and the third highest mountain in Thailand. The name "Chiang Dao" means "City of Stars". Trekking up the mountain from the starting point to the base camp (Paang Vour Trail) took us only about 5 hours and a half, but most people usually do it for 6 to 8 hours. Unluckily, when we reached the top to watch the sunset, the weather is overcast, resulting in the photo you've seen above. The trek was quite steep and slippery at some point, but it is all worths it when you reached the top.
