For some reason this photo reminded me of the wizard of oz, hence the title. My girlfriend and I were in Pennsylvania this past weekend. The called for rain so we planned on just going to the cabelas retail store. When we left the store that afternoon we were surprised to find sunshine. We both brought our cameras just in case so off we went to find something to shoot at sunset. We were driving to a bird/nature sanctuary when i noticed this farm on the side of the road. I looked nice and I liked the hills in the background. I figured if we couldnt find anything we would head back there. The nature preserve promised "stunning overlooks" which it did have, however they were better shot at sunrise. We stopped at two locations on the way back... another farm we passed which was "ehh" and this one. I set up in what little shoulder was available on the side of the road and took a few shots. I was limited compositionally due the limited area to stand and that just outside the frame are power lines. I was about to scrap this shot till I started fooling around in black and white. Enjoy!
