A long exposure image of the Crown Mines at Botallack in west Cornwall that was captured at sunset. The village is in a former tin mining area situated between the town of St Just in Penwith and the village of Pendeen. There are two engine houses there and the mine extends for about 400 meters out under the Atlantic Ocean; the deepest shaft is about 500m below sea level.
