I was walking through the monkey temple, when I walked by this little baby monkey. The babies are always my favourite to photograph, because people are usually drawn to them, and they always do really strange human things. For instance, one baby was sucking its thumb, and another was being cradled and rocked by its mother. As I walked toward this monkey, he kept giving me strange expressions; quizzical expressions, as it moved its eyebrows up and down every time I came closer. I came within four feet of him, and he jumped in a hiccup like way, and his eyes went full open. I took a half-step closer, in order to not spook him too much. I had my viewfinder up to my eye, and I took continuous shots until I got something I liked. I moved forward a tad more, he jumped and hiccuped. I got this photo right before he jumped over towards another monkey, and started grooming it.
