As the weather during this year's trip to North Norway was mostly despicable I can't show much of any stunning sunsets or the midnight sun etc. which are typical motives from this part of the country. Therefore for the next few postings there will be gray skies, windswept landscapes, and stormy clouds, but shots nonetheless that I was happy to make.

This is the lighthouse at Tranøy in Hamarøy, which we went to, despite rain and gale force winds. In the little red building, the former boat house of the lighthouse station, there is a very tiny little restaurant serving the best food. I'd just gorged myself on fantastic grilled stockfish with my family and hastily made some shots while retreating to the car. I would have loved to have stayed for a few more hours, but being the one with the car keys I could see they were waiting somewhat impatiently for me.
