It's the 2nd Saturday in January today, which in Thailand means it's "Children's day". Children day is celebrated in one form or another in many countries throughout the year to honor the importance of children and their future.

The face of today is a group of children from Nagarkot (Nepal), who noticed me taking photos of the landscape surrounding their homes. Like most kids, they were curious - maybe they were wondering what I was doing?, why would I want to take a photo near their home? or simply wondering where I was from? After showing them some photos that I had taken, they started giggling…and before I knew it, they were signaling to have their photo taken.

Despite being a group and despite wanting their photo taken, they proceeded to line up one after the other…it took a bit of time before they were comfortable enough to spread out a bit into a typical group photo pose.
