I got my butt out of bed early today and went in search of some keepers on Mt. Rainier. I started off on Reflection Lakes with the sunrise. Fortunately, the wind had not yet kicked up and I was able to capture some good shots. The fog you see in the photo swirls around the surface of the lake in a clockwise pattern. It's moves very fast and looks pretty neat up close and personal.

I then went to Mazama Ridge to see if there was one single wildflower left for me to photograph. As I was huffing and puffing up to the ridge, I ran across Dene' miles and her friend Tom. They informed me that there was indeed one single wildflower left but that I had better hurry before a hungry marmot gobbled it for breakfast. j/k There are a few left... just a few.
