Thanks to a few different things, i was inspired to go back and revisit old images and themes from when i first started taking pictures, and then kind of remake them. Thread/string, not to mention attaching it to my eye lashes, is one of those unexplainable loves of mine, and so it's something i've gone back to a few times. [And now have a bunch more to share!]
1. Be careful should you decide to glue things to your eyes. Being me i kept getting the string caught on things and ended up pulling, hard, on them in the process. Basically felt like i was trying to rip out all of my bottom lashes at once.
2. When trying to figure out a title i came across this poem and i find it super fitting for multiple reasons:
How shall I a habit break?
As you did that habit make.
As you gathered, you must lose;
As you yielded, now refuse.
Thread by thread the strands we twist
Till they bind us, neck and wrist.
Thread by thread the patient hand
Must untwine, ere free we stand.
As we builded, stone by stone,
We must toil, unhelped, alone,
Till the wall is overthrown.
