After a summer filled with traveling and shooting I'm finally ready to start posting some new work. I hope to post around one shot per week so there should be a steady trickle coming along...

This guy was taken in Jefferson Park in the Oregon Cascades. I had found a comp and was sitting on it praying for the emerging color to spread across Mount Jefferson itself. That never happened. Luckily the sky directly behind me was exploding and, luckily again, the patch of Lewis Monkeyflower and Paintbrush worked in both directions. Jefferson Butte was also nice enough to step in the frame for me to round out the scene. This rare sky show felt like a fitting end to such an amazing summer. Hope everyone else also had at great summer!
