I had already shown one of the pictures from that evening – the pink sky over Kata beach.
This one was shot some half an hour later – sunsets are pretty fast on Thailand, not so much blue hour – sun just goes down and it become dark. But, on a long exposure, like 181seconds for this picture, you can still catch some amazing light fading away, mirrored in the sea.
BTW, I have started writing a Landscapers Guide to Thailand. It’s planned as a series of posts describing interesting places to shoot on Thailand, and some tips for landscape and seascape photography. So far I have written the first part, Bang Tao Beach. Next chapter is planned to be released soon.
