For one, because there wasn't really a sidewalk, it was more like a footing for the railing, which was about half the size of a normal sidewalk. But that wasn't half as scary as the height of the bridge paired with the fact that I'm afraid of heights. The wind didn't help either, but the worst part was when a big transport truck crossed over the bridge. It was a heavy one, carrying some kind of liquid. As it passed by me I was hit with a blast of wind, which was nerve racking, but once I realized that the bridge was shaking and groaning, that was when I really started freaking out. I was surprised that I managed to stay up there for another 100 photos to finish the timelapse, all the while praying that another transport truck wouldn't cross the bridge. I was pretty happy to be on solid ground again once it was all said and done.
