I had a manic morning, I woke up at 5 and could see thick mist below but the moon above so decided to head out. First off I went to Black Rocks then Lathkill Dale, both thick in pea soup so decided to head over to Cubar (thank god for being up early enough to drive around a bit).
It was hit and miss at Curbar, not really being above the mist initially but this proved to my advantage when I spotted these two deer walking about through the moors.
I approached them, getting my trousers incredibly wet in the thigh high grass but it was completely worth it to get this shot of the sun rising through the mist with the deers silhouetted. I wish I could have got more shots, maybe a little more to the left but they soon scarpered.
