It's always the same, if there is a dead animal somewhere around the Crows, Magpies and Raven are always the first to appear. Even when the large raptors are on the prey these smaller birds are hard to overlook.
They don't have any fear for the Eagles because they know they are faster when it comes to it.
Normally these smaller birds can be very distracting in the frame if you're trying to get an image of the Eagle on the prey on its own.
In this case though I've got the idea that the Hooded Crow fits very well in the composition.
