A huge vortex spins off of the billowing plume at the Waikupanaha ocean entry. This is by far, the largest volcanic vortex I've ever seen. The faint vertical streaks are hydrochloric acid raindrops falling from the plume. And, yes, that's a guy standing on the bench... a videographer, whose equipment got ruined by the acid rain.
