Me and my buddy Mahesh Thapa were strolling around the Steptoe Butte in search for new comps when this dramatic weather front rolled in fast over the hills. For a few minutes a great display of crepuscular rays and rain curtains were dancing all over the Palouse landscape. When you get dramatic weather like this, composition often becomes a secondary thought. What really matters is capturing the dramatic light, no matter what. Mahesh often say: "Light is king, composition is queen" and this image really fits his quote so well.
