After my last shot from this exact location a few weeks ago, I decided to head back a second time to capture the Larches in full autumn colour with my Dad. It was his first ever hiking/camping experience and he wasn't disappointed with the views we both got during the trip.

No matter what the conditions were over the 3 days, I was determined to capture something special and made the hike up the Nublet every sunrise, sunset, and even mid day when the light looked promising. On the second morning after waiting almost 2 hours past sunrise in thick fog and insane wind, things opened up and I captured this amazing crispy foggy light show. I hope everyone likes it, and I can't wait to print it big!
