Petra tou Romiou, also known as Aphrodite's Rock, is a sea stack just outside Pathos. According to one legend, this rock is the site of the birth of the goddess Aphrodite and this is where it gets its name from.

I was starting to find out how busy this little island was and it was an absolute nightmare to get a shot without people in it, to the point people where having their photo taken, posing, right in front of my me taking my shots! Doh!

I was also determined on a shot stood in the waves looking to the sea stack and quickly realised why I don't see many shots stood in the water like this, rather looking out. Crashing pebbles hitting the tripod made getting a sharp image without image shake very difficult. Alas, I finally managed it and pleased I persisted.
