Taken at Smith Rock State Park last week while touring central and northern Oregon. We were half way to Crater Lake when we realized it was going to be storming up there. Even though we were 6 minutes past our point of no return we still managed to flip it around and get back to Smith for sunrise. It ended up being the right choice. Rarely have I seen such soft sunrise light there and the dusting of snow gave our images a hint of winter.
