Went out last Saturday morning to get a shot I have been after for a while. I've put it off for so long because I tend to not want to miss a sunrise on the hills, but with the location only being 10 minutes away in a morning I've finally got around to it.

This is the weir on the River Derwent at Chatsworth. It saw me with my tripod balanced very precariously, half in the water and half on the ground, with me leaning over tired and cold to get this composition.

I don't think I could have asked for much more, some nice calm water, some pinks in the sky and mist rising off the river.

Glad I finally got it in the bag.
