I was setting up to shoot in an area next to the lake I had scoped out the day before. Unfortunately there was no opportunity for a reflection because of the wind so I scrambled out onto the rocks near this still water and tried to get the mountain reflection into my comp.
As simple as that sounds there was not a lot of opportunity at all. As you can tell I barely fit it in between the rocks after siting with one leg in the water.
As I was waiting for first light this cloud front begin to move in, now it was just a matter of timing as it was moving very quickly. I would love to have had more of the peaks in the light but, one minute after this shot and the front was out of my comp on the bottom frame, so I ended up with a hint of first light anyway.
