I have been to this area of the Grand Canyon dozens of times before, over the years. On this quite evening, alone at the end of hours of difficult road and camped near the rim I photographed this scene in soft moonlight so beautiful it rivaled the picture itself. I was lucky to get a hazy atmosphere to catch light beams I could barely even see with my eye though, and made sure to make many exposures at this high ISO to I could record the range of light on these features with the most precise details after blending. It was an amazing moment, a striking spectacle to behold I had long anticipated having the chance to capture. I hope you enjoy it as I do. Thanks for any thoughts you may have.
