I took this photo at Narrabeen in a cloudy morning, the sunrise wasn't great that day, I didn't give up and go home, I waited at the same location for over 30 minutes and hope better things could happen.
The composition I had was Rule Of Third, which was quite boring, since hundreds of photographers had the same composition for thousands of times.
Luckily, the fisherman showed up.
I put the main interest in the middle of the frame and the fisherman at the left corner, the high light caused by the rising sun at the right corner.
I think it works better than simply follow the rules.
