There was no weather, i.e., clouds in the forecast but I still wanted to get out there and get a classic Tahoe-esque shot. I drove over to the East Shore of Lake Tahoe to explore and found myself in a very secluded harbor. There was a large stone cabin that had been unoccupied for many years, left up by the Forest Service and put on display for historical purposes. It was hard to imagine what it might be like to live there. It's an amazing spot. It honestly felt a bit spooky as the darkness crept in but I kept looking for an angle and walked away with this view of Skunk Harbor with it's beautiful Sugar Pine trees silhouetted against the sunset.
