I started to notice a trend with some of my pictures being nude clones in the wild, mimicking the surrounding mountains or rocks (especially this one
)...and instead of continuing on haphazardly ignoring the connection, I decided to explore why I am so fascinated with the theme and turn it into a series. I love the way that bodies can look less than human with a twist here or a tense muscle there. I'll be teaching a version of this picture at my workshop
with Lindsay Adler April 15.
Today I'm headed off to Chicago to see some of my very favorite people in the world and to meet some future very favorite people in the world :-) I am so grateful for opportunities like this. Traveling to teach workshops has a lot to do with having new experiences, sharing with others, and making sure everyone around me is feeling that same bright energy from life. I thank my lucky stars everyday that I can wake up and enjoy life so fully.
