A Single shot exposure Underneath the San Clemente Pier, straight into the sun as it was setting. I literally had less than a couple minutes to get this shot because every changing position of the sun changed the way the light casted the shadows. Right after I captured it, one of the pillars from the pier blocked the sun altogether. I used a Lee 10 stop neutral density filter and a .9 stop graduated neutral density filter to shoot into the sun without blowing out all the highlights. The sunburst was achieved using a small aperture.
