This is a place I played as a child, and as a teenager. The Salthouse Mills, Barrow-In-Furness, England. The building has long been abandoned of any functioning business and on a recent trip back to the UK I decided to explore my old haunts for photography fun. This old window looks out over the bay leading to the channel of the area. I found it striking to have such a beautiful day, with fluffy white clouds, and lush green growth framed by a threatening, broken glass, rustic, window pane. The angled light just helped add to the moment of drama for me and so I knew I had to get a picture.
