Culla bay rock formations, Isle of Uist, Scotland

During my last visit on the Isle of Uist in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, I decided to visit the rough coastline next to the beautiful and sandy beach of Culla bay. I found a relatively small bay with the most extraordinary rock formations revealed during low tide. The sea there can be pretty wild and the pebbles that have been thrown away to the top of the bay, are evident to this.

This image was made there and just in case you are wondering, yes, I did place the pebble in the rock cavity, it was a perfect fit.
