Ballarò is the oldest food market of Palermo (Sicily). It's in the historical centre of the city, where it's possible to buy genuine products of the Palermo's countryside and typical fishes of Sicilian's sea. It's folckloristic to walk among the stalls of products and be called from typical "abbanniate" that in Palermo dialect mean the noisy calls of sellers to attract the attention of the passers to get them interested in buying the market's products.
