Schwabacher’s Landing is one of America’s most spectacular viewpoints, a location that truly showcases the immense beauty of Grand Teton National Park. Just south of Yellowstone National Park, the north-south Teton Range stretches about 40 miles across Wyoming. Schwabacher’s Landing is a spot in the Snake River, almost exactly east of Grand Teton, where the terrain flattens out and allows easy access to the river. There is a dirt road coming off the main highway and down to various trailheads.
For those of you who have not been to this location. This image was taken facing due West and the water in the foreground is part of the Snake River. This particular part has been dammed up by a beaver... which is why the water is so calm.
