This photo was taken on a stormy day in the inner garden of the "Petit Palais" in Paris. The place I shot it from is actually the terrace of a cafe, where I was sitting and waiting for someone... And well, I did have my camera with me and suddenly thought this place had an interesting feature with the circular ceiling and pillars.

So the more I waited, the more I realized the person would never show up and the more I started to think that after all, being stood up in such a place was a good fortune. So I Installed my tripod and panoramic head, and a few hundred experiments later - with about ten drinks to make it up to the waiter for all the fuss - I came up with this.

And there is something I always wondered about secret gardens. Are they meant to protect us from the snakes or to prevent us from enjoying the apples? ;)
