I spent 18 days in this location with the United States Forest Service. This was definitely one of the better areas I got to work in this season. Around 13 miles from the nearest trail head the creek itself is beautiful and is filled with volcanic rocks and volcanic golden trout, one of only 2 native trout species in the Sierra.
It took me 3 attempts after work to really get this photo how I wanted it as far as the composition and placement of the sun. If at first you dont succeed try and try again.
