This shot shows the old Saginaw 'Castle' Post Office, now known as the Castle Museum. The post office was built in the late 1800's under a government program which attempted to design buildings taking into account the area's history. Since Saginaw was founded by French Voyageurs, it was decided that a French Chateau would be appropriate. The building proved expensive to build and the program was scrapped.
