First day at Grand Teton National Park, on my way back from Solitude lake after hiking more than 10 hours, half of the time on a fully snowy trail. The sun was setting down on a tiny lake along the path. We stopped just a few minutes in this absolutely quiet place, as we still had a long way to come back to the campground. I wished I could stay longer to enjoy the sunset, but I was still 4 hours away from the camp. I had to finish the trail hiking by night in the bear territory, but it was worth every step.
