Marianne and I have just returned from our maiden holiday with young baby in tow. All in all, it was a very different trip but between us, we managed to take Charlotte to some amazing locations which will form no more than impressions rather than solid memories but we hope the early experience gains her an adventurous spirit!
Purakaunui falls in the Catlins are one of the most well known falls in New Zealand. The day prior, there was little water flowing but for the next 24 hours, constant rain filled the streams with dirty coloured water. It was difficult to keep out the sporadic rain entirely but we managed a few shots of this iconic location! (as did the photographic workshop standing on drier ground above me!)
