The gardens of Ipiranga Museum, designed in the early twentieth century by Belgian landscape Puttemans Arsenius, were inspired by French classics, such as the Palace of Versailles. Call Party School in Ipiranga, the above screen shows and was the site. Painted in 1912 by Spanish Augustin Salinas Teruel y, belongs to the collection of the Pinacoteca do Estado and is one of the images from the book São Paulo - Arts and Ethnic Groups, Percival Tirapeli, co-edited by the Press and Journal Publisher Unesp. In 1922, as part of centenary celebrations of independence, the land was lowered by 14 meters and 100 fountains were installed there.
