Now that there's an extra hour to shoot I decided to take advantage of it but didn't like anything I took at sunset. As I was about to leave I decided to take some shots of the moon for kicks then noticed an ice halo was forming! I was running in and out of nooks and crannies looking for a nice comp but nothing worked because the moon was too high to incorporate any interesting foreground. So I decided the only way to make it work was to do a vertorama. It doesn't look like it in this photo but this shot covers about 180 deg with the last shot almost straight up to the sky. If you look closely in the distance, you can see a layer of fog over the city. As it turns out the pano is a perfect 2:3 ratio for printing. Hurray.
Tech specs are not the best because the Samyang has no AF confirm chip.
