The Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat and one of Bolivia's most popular attractions. We visited the Salar on a four day jeep trip that took us from Tupiza and finished in the town of Uyuni. The hexagonal patterns in the surface of the Salar are caused by water laying underneath the surface evaporating through the salt.
