This photo was taken in the “Olmense Zoo” where the “ring-tailed lemurs” live on several islands in groups. The islands are equipped with plenty of trees to climb in, ropes and bridges to assure they will have no dull moments.

I found this photo particular because it looks like he has smelly feet. We like to humanize animals.

I always like to observe the lemurs and find them very entertaining and funny. They sit like people and they are curious and friendly.

Ring-tailed Lemurs are lemurs, animals found only on the island of Madagascar and also the most famous animals of Madagascar.

Despite being listed as Near Threatened by the IUCN Red List and suffering from habitat destruction, the ring-tailed lemur reproduces readily in captivity and is the most populous lemur in zoos worldwide, numbering more than 2,000 individuals. It typically lives 16 to 19 years in the wild and up to 27 years in captivity.
