This shot was one of my favourites when it was taken about a year ago, it was a very large turning point in my HDR photography. A friend gave my 4 dvd's from Trey Ratcliff and within two day of watching these dvd's I had learnt so much. Some history of Burleigh Beach is listed below:

“In 1840, surveyor J. R. Warner was commissioned to survey the coastline near Moreton Bay. Warner named the headlands near Tallebudgera Creek, 'Burly Head' because of its massive appearance. Over the years Burly was changed to Burleigh.
