Ittoqqortoormiit is the most northern settlement on the Greenlandic East-coast and is one of the most remote places in Greenland.
The next settlement is more than 800km further south.
It is located in an area of astonishing natural beauty next to the world's largest fjord complex.
The living conditions are harsh as the sea is frozen for around 9 months per year.
The 470 inhabitants of Ittoqqortoormiit survive mainly on hunting.
