This one was a bit of a rush due to the fact i was trying to get it done before starting a paying job for a client.
The model was shot in my garage with 3 lights. a 6' shoot thru camera left giving the main face light. then a bare light high camera right as the blue rim light, and a softbox light, also camera right, as a blue fill.
then another trip downtown to shoot a background. i picked a bad day to go as there were hardly any cars out, oddly, and i wanted lots of tail light streaks going by. there werent that many, so i added a few.
my main battle with this image was trying to get the face to look like the light from camera left was peaking over the top of the helmet, hitting her in the eyes, without making the rest of the face look muddy. not sure if i nailed it, but time to move on!
